Yeah, I suspise that these campus riots are about as "organic"
as that green stuff upon which my beloved Cowboys occasionally
shred their anterior cruciate ligaments each spring, fall
and winter.

THe following is from a Comment I made yesterday. It bears
repeating:
The war (an actual war) in Gaza is not going to be stopped
by protests or riots in this country. HAMAS is an Iranian
proxy. Israel is an American proxy. Whose side should we
be on?
The timing and severity of HAMAS' attack on Israel couldn't
have been more calculated to affect the next election and
bad hombres are now on campus stirring up dissent. It is
real. It is happening.
A two-state solution is the only hope for "peace" in
the region but humans being the killer chimps they are, America
being the official policeman of the world, and the military-industrial-complex
being what it is, there will never be peace in our lifetimes.
The best we can hope for is that Israel will not invade Rafah,
a cease-fire will be agreed upon, and the fires of rage
will subside enough for the goldfish of this country to forget
it ever happened and vote
in November
without
a
cloud
of
doubt that President Biden is providing a steady hand at
the helm and that Trump is a trash-fire rolling towards the
gas pumps.
