Whither
Barr?
Did you watch the Bill Barr Senate hearing yesterday?
Did he look like a million-dollar lawyer to you?
Yeah,
me neither.
------------
Robert Mueller is overseeing the 14 criminal investigations
involving t-Rump and his cronies which he uncovered
while investigating Russian interference into the 2016
election.
The House wants to question Mueller about the report,
especially since Bill Barr is no longer acting for
the benefit of anyone but the Oaf of Office.
But Mueller can't testify unless his boss, Bill Barr,
gives him permission or if Mueller quits his position,
either of which is not very likely.
Here's the funny thing....
.........
No, there's nothing funny here. The writers of our
nation's laws thought the Constitution would be adhered
to by reasonable men but we're now governed by the
Russian mafia.
Get used to it.
--------
Before becoming confirmed to be the next AG William
Barr signed a pledge to divest himself of his interests
in certain funds and bonds, seemingly a necessity of
a position that would make legal decisions about those
very companies. These include, for example, AT&T,
Bristol Myers Squibb, General Motors, Morgan Stanley,
Bank of America, and Citigroup among many others.
I can find no record yet that he has actually done
so.
Must be one of those pesky "emolument" dealies.
----------
I've heard, from a reputable source, that this "Can't
indict a sitting president " crappola came from Dick
Cheney.
Considering the way he abused the attorney general
system back in the 2000-sies I wouldn't doubt it.
----------
And finally: Mazie Hirono and Kamala Harris, you both
rock!.
