Nobody Does It Worser
I think Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg ought to begin holding weekly rallies in cities across the country to remind voters how badly the voters screwed up. All the way through to the mid-terms.
At the very least someone in the Democratic Party ought to hold a public press briefing for the benefit of the remaining legitimate news media so the country can be updated on the latest lies, failures and miscalculations by the Insurrection Party.

Item: The Dallas Morning News, after 52 years, dropped the Sunday edition of Doonesbury from its paper for the purposes of being "fair and balanced".
Dear Dallas Morning News;
I understand your philosophical disagreement with Gary Trudeau's view of the American political scene. He sees Trump as a vain fraud. Also a philanderer, a rapist, a liar, and a murderer -- as Trump's mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in more than 400,000 excess deaths -- while your paper tends to present him as an honest, family-loving businessman upon whom the justice system maintains an unhealthy desire to strip of all the success he has attained throughout his life, with or without the help of the Russian mafia.
I realize that Mr. Trudeau's unvarnished depiction of the political scene upsets a large proportion of your readers who rely on their Bibles and their guns to keep them safe from unpleasant truths. To see Mr. Trump satirized by some "woke" Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist no doubt makes them feel confused and angry enough to threaten to cancel their subscriptions. Or at least the relative handful who are capable of scrawling a missive of dispute, coherent or otherwise.
It's been apparent for many years to the more enlightened of your readers that the editorial side of your paper has historically leaned towards that same gun-frottaging demographic so it comes as no surprise that Mr. Trudeau's weekly contemporary offering finally got the axe. Especially now that the "election" of Donald Trump means America has officially entered a reality-free zone.
So you do you, Dallas Morning News. I'm sure you're betting that circulation will not be substantially affected by the loss of this one cartoon but it's a million small slights to your readers like this that ensure someday no one will miss this one newspaper.
We need more contributions to public discourse like Mr. Trudeau’s, not fewer. I hope you’ll reconsider your action in this regard.
Sincerely,
Mike "Lefty" Stanfill
