I admit to being upset when I heard the GOP nominating
convention will be closed to the press. Then I remembered
that plans for
GOP conventions in the Age of Covid have all the ephemeral
gravitas of a butterfly's eyelash.

to be held secretly
minus any national
press.
Meaning Russia will
have news of the
proceedings before
Americans.

If there's such
a thing as the opposite
of a Renaissance
Man, that's t-Rump.

Trump's toady heading
the US Postal Service
is meddling with
the mails. That's
a Federal offense.
Are these people
SO sure they can
steal the election
that they'd risk
a prison sentence
if Trump loses?
Sure seems so.

One of the problems
with getting people
to wear masks is
that covid-19 doesn't
have obvious symptoms,
like red spots or
buboes or blood
spurting from every
orifice. The only
time the anti-maskers
understand the danger
is when the hospital
calls with bad news
about Uncle Ed.
