Neck
and Neck and Neck and Neck.
Historical note: This cartoon reflects
the recent news that there are, by current count, a
total of
four separate giraffe species.
Frankly,
I'm astonished that it took
this long for biologists to discover this fact. I mean,
I once had six black cats and I could easily tell them
apart. You'd have thunk that, long ago, some
sharp-eyed zoologist would have said to himself "Hey,
wait a minute! That giraffe is a terrible driver by
comparison to the other giraffes. And he's really good
with money. And the hooves of the
darker
ones
are much
larger than the
hooves of the lighter ones. Hmmm."
I'm here all week, ladies and germs. Tip your waitresses. See
you Monday.
