You want to know which demographic has the highest level of unvaccinated children? It's not poor southern blacks or religious weirdos or Hispanic immigrants.

It's affluent whites with good health care.

In affluent areas of California non-compliance has reached as high as 20 percent. The reasons are many but one of the major fears is that certain evil chemicals in vaccines can cause autism, a myth that has been thoroughly discredited.

Long story short, such parents wager the benefits of a quick and painful death of a child against the lingering personal inconvenience of an autistic one. Fuck these people.

I'm going to take a moment to weigh in on Bernie vs. Hillary.

Bernie is obviously the finest progressive candidate to ever hit the campaign trail. My only major criticism is "Where the hell were you in 2000 and 2004!?"

Hillary is a very intelligent person but she's also a political animal. Everything she does is calculated to garner the largest political support. Sometimes that will be good for the middle class, sometimes not. Deal with it. Ultimately, she's miles ahead of anything Republican so knock off the anti-Hillary crap... and vote Bernie.
