Fear and Imbalanced

Did you hear the one about the anorexic cross-gender harpy and the socialist health-care plan?

It seems that Ann Coulter was recently on Fox's Sean Hannity program complaining about a delightfully bone-headed statement by Andrea Saul, Mitt Romney's spokesperson. It seems that Ms. Saul proffered that those poor factory workers who lost their jobs, and their health insurance, would have been just ducky had they immediately moved to Massachusetts and enjoyed the fruits of Romney's Obamacare-like health care system.

Gasp!

In case you didn't know, it's a mortal Republican sin to connect Mr. Romney with the health plan he signed into law as governor of Massachusetts because, you know, once he becomes president he's going to get rid of its big brother, known informally as Obamacare.

Actually, I don't think Mitt really cares one way or the other about the health of the "little people" but the rich Tea Party wing-nuts funding his run for the presidency are adamant for the repeal of the Affordable Care Act as the hand that signed it into law was just a few shades too dark, if you get my drift.

Anyhoo, Coulter then began snarling that all of Fox's propagandizing for the GOP is for naught if people like Ms. Saul can't stick to the Republican playbook and publicly damn everything Mr. Obama touches.

As the pilot who accidentally dropped an atomic bomb on Florence, South Caroline once said: "Oops."

It reminded me of that moment in "The Wizard of Oz" when Toto pulls back the curtain to expose the Wizard as nothing but a clever charlatan. Except in this case it was an emaciated, yapping little chihuhua pulling back a curtain labeled "Fox News" to reveal Mitt Romney felching Rupert Murdoch.

Oh, That Mitt.

I do not recall the "Son of Boss" scandal but Mittens was evidently right in the middle of  this $70 million tax write-off scheme. Interesting.

Today Mittens complained about those mean old ads run by his political opponent. "These ads are wrong and inaccurate and yet Obama keeps on running them" said the parody of a presidential candidate whose campaign ads regularly quote Mr. Obama out of context.

In one of the latest Romney political ads he dog-whistles to his racist base at jumbo jet volume by spouting a big fat blatant lie: “Under Obama’s plan, you wouldn’t have to work and wouldn’t have to train for a job. They just send you your welfare check, and ‘welfare to work’ goes back to being plain old welfare.”
