Unconditional
Sentence
Regarding convicted felon Donald Trump's upcoming sentencing,
I keep hearing he may get some degree of leniency because,
and I quote, "He
has no past record".
I dunno.
I seem to recall something
about a rape and a charity fund for children being looted
and
a massive real estate fraud among other colorful chapters
in Trump's lurid past. Seems to me those jolly escapades
should be considered in Judge Merchan's final decision on
how Donald
should spend
the next 4-10 years.
I also hear his lawyers want the punishment set at the lowest
level possible for a felony, but I disagree. The punishment
should be set at the highest possible level because the
crime was
committed
at
the highest level --- the man was committing a felony to
steal, I mean, win the Presidency. That seems to me to be
considerably more deleterious to this republic than standing
on a street corner selling single cigarettes.
I mean, that shit can get you killed.
There is no lesson to be learned by any potential future
billionaire insurrectionist if they know all they have to
do is whip out their checkbooks or be forced to spend the
next
four
years restricted to their luxury hotel, all the while being
serviced by their luxury hookers. A little hard time rubbing
elbows with La Eme or the Conservative Vice Lords could
give these antidemocratic freaks an enhanced perspective
of their real position in life.

Another major storm is hitting Dallas as I write this. If
you don't hear from me for a couple of days don't be surprised.

Artistic Note: I considered posting today's 'toon sans color
but I really wanted to see the color in that dark haze in
the skies over the
cityscape.
So here we are.
