The Son-of-A-Bitch of Man

Very early on in 2017 it became clear that Trump was going to be exactly the kind of incompetent White House squatter we all expected, so I drew the comic on display today way back on May 19, 2017.

Note: The Magritte painting, to which I'm paying cheeky homage, is titled "The Son of Man" and it was painted in 1946, the same year Trump was born. I discovered that fact just now and it tickles me for reasons unknown.

While I'm on hiatus for (checks watch) another 20 days expect more of the Best of Trump from that epoch as ALL of it is still completely relevant.

The first ray of political sunshine I've had in many days since the election was the news that the satirical site, The Onion, had bought Alex Jones' "Infowars" at his bankruptcy auction. Reports are that Jones was rather miffed about its purchase.

I'm certain The Onion will treat the property with all the love and respect it deserves.

BWAHHHHHH-hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Seriously, the purchase just may have been worth it for the back-links. Someday soon millions of Infowars fans will dutifully click their bookmarks and end up on the new Onion-ized version of the site. They'll be met by a satirically progressive slant on the news that they'll ingest without a thought in the same way they used to ingest Jones' misinformation. Here's hoping.

A Fox News host for SecDef, Marco Rubio as SecState, Tulsi Gabbard as head of National Intelligence, Elon Musk running a phony department of "efficiency"...

The Pentagon has a war plan for any contingency, even one for fighting England if we have to, so now I’m hoping they have a war plan for Trump.

I'm certain Pentagon officials realize military procurement's are going to get real "Russian" when Trump starts replacing top generals, who understand the concept "honor", with lapdogs who only understand the concept of "I got MINE, Jack!"

It could be that Trump isn't serious about these cabinet picks and is just using them as gauges of fealty to him in the Senate. Trump, for example, will throw Gaetz to the wolves and then, after he's flayed alive, will say "Just kidding. Here's a serial murderer that I think will be better suited as AG and don't even THINK of denying me a second time! Now watch this drive."

Randi is the very reason I started this political avocation. Her deep dive into the quagmire that was the Dubya administration fanned the flames of political fire that fizzed fitfully within me. I consider her one of the smartest women I know and I am loathe to ever miss her shows.
