I Remember

GOP: "Never forget..."

Lefty: "That on 9-11 George Bush 'just happened' to be reading children's books in Florida? And later said he saw the first plane strike the North tower on TV while in the classroom, footage that was not publicly available for days?"

GOP: "No. Never forget..."

Lefty: "That the Bush White House had the Taliban over for lunch in early 2001 and promised them a 'carpet of gold' for an oil pipeline through Afghanistan. Otherwise they would get a 'carpet of bombs'? And that the Taliban told them to stuff it? And that the pipeline got built after the U.S. invaded?"

GOP: "No! Never forget..."

Lefty: "That the White House rammed through the Constitution-shredding, 2300-page PATRIOT ACT immediately after the attack of 9/11 and claimed anyone who wasn't on board with it was un-American, traitorous scum?"

GOP: "NO! Never forget..."

Lefty: "That Building Seven dropped into its own footprint on 9/11, even though it had taken no damage that day? A building that stored CIA records of Dubya's illicit dealings with Harken energy?"

GOP: "NO! NEVER FORGET..."

Lefty: "The first responders who suffered and died from severe physical after-effects of digging through he rubble of the Twin Towers? The heroes which you refused to fund treatment?"

GOP: "NO! NEVER FORGET THAT JOE BIDEN IS REALLY OLD AND HIS VEEP IS A NEGRESS!"

Lefty: "G'night, everybody!"
