 So
this is my fourth comic in a row about the Citizens
United/McCutcheon can of snakes, eels, and venomous
serpents that have been unleashed on the American
body politic. Gosh, you'd almost think I was upset
about it or something. There are certainly other
topics worthy of my affectionate attention but
I've been
struggling with finding the proper metaphor for
this dilemma and I think today's iteration pretty
much nails it. We'll see.

Two guys playing video games.
There used to be this great multiplayer game
where you'd find a character you liked and
you followed him into battle, campaign after
campaign, watching him acquire skills and
increasing his charisma until he eventually
became all-powerful. But one day they changed
the rules and let anyone with money simply
buy all the upgrades they wanted, and all
us little guys just got hammered.
God, I hate that kinda shit. Which game was
it?
