Circuit
Breaker
Last
week U.S. Circuit Court judge Richard A.
Posner (Appointed by Ronald Reagan) weighed
in heavily against Wisconsin's new voter
ID laws. Here's short
list
of
nine
scathing quotes from his dissent but
the one I want to share is this one:
"There is only one motivation for
imposing burdens on voting that are ostensibly
designed to discourage voter-impersonation
fraud, if there is no actual danger of
such fraud, and that is to discourage voting
by persons likely to vote against the party
responsible for imposing the burdens."
There is no voter fraud of any consequence
in this country unless you want to count
the Republican Party interference with
the people's right to vote. Voter ID laws
are essentially the Republican Party
deciding
who gets
to vote and, as far as they're concerned,
the fewer Democrats the better. If you're
one
of
those who
think "them
other people"
that don't look or sound exactly like you
don't deserve to vote keep in mind that
one day
it will
be YOUR
turn
to join
that
list. Bet on it.
Let everyone vote.

The GOP's number one goal in 2009 was to make Mr. Obama a one-term
president.
So we fell five million votes short. Big deal!
Your number one goal in 2011 was to create jobs.
Yeah! We still can't believe you guys fell for that one!
Your number one goal in 2013 was to prevent Democrats from voting.
And it'd have worked, too, if it wasn't for those meddling Supreme
Court judges.
So what's your goal for 2015?
What else? Make Hillary a one-term president.
