 I'm
thinking about adding a new feature to this site...
a complete listing of all of Mitt Romney's lies now
that he's the presumed presidential Republican
candidate.
Today, for example,
he claimed
he never said that the Arizona immigration law
was a model for the country, but he
DID! He had to
walk back his earlier statement because he has only
a 14%
approval by latinos, and he simply cannot win the presidency
with those numbers. Hell, McCain got 31% of the latino
vote and was beaten like an ugly stepchild.
At the same event today Mr. Romney also blamed President
Obama for a shuttered
auto plant... one that was
shut
down during the Bush administration. (Romney also vociferously
opposed the auto bailout, BTW.)
I already do a thrice-weekly update
of job creation by the
GOP-led house, which promised a "laser-like focus on
jobs" (whatever
that means) but so far all the list shows is two years
of nothing. It's a mind-numbing list of post office
re-naming and corporate tax cut legislation. Will voters,
I ask myself, be equally mind-raped by an extensive
list illustrating Romney trying to Etch-A-Sketch his
way to the White House?
You tell me.

 4-20-2012: On
Thursday the House passed "The Small Business
Tax Cut Act" (H.R. 9) but they might as well
have named the bill "Ponies For Everyone" because
it wasn't
about small business, and it will never
pass the Senate. No jobs were created today.
