Million Trayvons
 Yes,
I know the premise of this cartoon takes the idea of
the slaughter of innocents to absurd lengths.
I mean,
how could any court be so blase about murder? Yet
over 100,000 innocent men, women, and children died
as a
result
of the American
invasion
of Iraq.
Some even estimate as many as one million people died in Iraq and Afghanistan,
combined, since 2003. And to what end?
Yet no one was punished. There
are no war criminals in this country. George W. Bush,
Dick Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld had no idea their
information was faulty and so they walk free (though
not abroad). As far as American jurisprudence is concerned
there is
no
difference
between
"preemptive
strikes" and "stand
your ground".
There is a free lunch in this country. Just remember
to leave no witnesses.
