 Anyone
familiar with me knows that I
am, to put it mildly, rather skeptical of the "official"
story of the events 9-11. Today's edition is just a
small
reminder
of the
low regard certain factions of the previous administration
held for the general public.
But they knew their audience.
Choreographed correctly it's theatre, so what's one more fallen skyscraper to
a populace who believes that reality TV is real?
When videos of the collapse of WTC 7 were shown to
architects and engineers their opinion was that it
clearly was the result of controlled demolition. It's
only their job,
you see, to understand how such things work and
what it looks like. Some people can identify birds,
some people are experts on plants. These guys know
what it takes to bring a huge building down. I trust
them better than anyone who tries to tell me that kerosene
can melt structural steel.
Last year I devoted ten full days of strips to the
confusing events of 9-11 on its tenth "anniversary".

Chow.
On September 11, 2001, after WTC1 and WTC2 had collapsed
WTC 7 caught fire and burned for several hours.
At about 5PM EST WTC 7 collapsed into its own footprint
even though it had only suffered minor exterior damage.
The NIST blamed its collapse on the heat from the fire.
This is the Mandarin Hotel in Beijing, China.
On February 9, 2009, while still under construction,
it was engulfed in flames as a result of stray fireworks.
But it did not collapse
In fact, it is currently under repair.
WTC 7 retains the distinction of being the only steel-framed
building to ever collapse solely due to fire.
And if you believe that I've got some Iraqi WMD's to
sell you.
