Walker,
Taxes Stranger
A quote has been floating around the internet
lately,
tickling Progressive fancies, attributed
to Adolph Hitler. It goes as follows:
"We must close union offices, confiscate
their money and put their leaders in prison.
We must reduce workers salaries and take away
their right to strike."
Although we on the Left got a hearty laugh at the obvious comparison between
Mr. Holocaust of 1945 and just about every Republican governor in America I'm
sad
to
report
that Mr. Hitler did not ever utter those choice words.
In fact, he publicly praised trade unions... just before shutting
them down, confiscating their funds and putting their leaders in concentration
camps.
<sarcasm>I should, at this point, remind everyone that Hitler strove to
become chancellor of Germany specifically for the chance to slaughter the Jews
and that money and power had nothing to do with it. Similarly, Gorvernor Walker
is following the Nazi handbook for our own good. </sarcasm>
It should be noted that Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker never even mentioned
abolishing public sector unions in his campaigns speeches because, you know,
everyone hates
that idea and would not vote for you. So I guess he and Adolph have a lot more
in
common
than
we
think,
although
I
doubt
he'll
be invading Russia via Canada anytime soon. Even with global warning Russia
is
a frigid BITCH in February and gas is, you know, $4.00 a gallon.
You may think I'm going overboard with this Hitler comparison but I'm not. This
is a holocaust, kids, a fiscal holocaust. There is a massive redistribution of
wealth of hitherto unknown proportions currently at work all across this country
and none of it is going to you. And by "you" and I mean anyone who's
not already in on the scam. We, the people, are being soaked for the benefit
of cronies and oligarchs. There are no Democrats, by and large, responsible for
this assault. It is the Republicans who've decided now is the time to drive deep
into our pocketbooks and it is nothing less than a blitzkrieg, pure and simple.
PS, the following cartoon was from 2009. No one can say that Wisconsin wasn't
warned.
------------
And
what is Fox News spewing lately? Lies about trade unions
and National Public Radio.
If you don't watch it please request that your local
cable provider remove them from your monthly
bill by calling them about it at three in the
morning.
