The official Barack Obama policy of child separation at the southern border:

If the adult was a repeat criminal offender the children were taken into custody for their own safety, as their "parents" were generally suspected of being drug smugglers.

The official Donald Trump policy of child separation:
Take the kid, throw 'em in a warehouse, give the parents the finger, and bask in the glow of white nationalist ecstasy.

Why will Rep Neal see Donald Trump's tax returns? Because in Feb 2016 Donald Trump claimed he is "unfairly" audited by the IRS "almost every single year". I believe Rep Neal in his letter to the IRS commissioner stated basically that as the Legislative reason for the request.

Never have more people been slaughtered, children butchered or orphaned, women denigrate just for being women than in the name of religion. People are afraid of death so they look for a way out and religion provides that for them. So a group of con men started taking advantage of that fear thousands of years ago and it goes on to this day. You would think we evolved past that irrational fear.

However, we still have men and women that propagate that fear and have the "Holy Books" to convince the faithful to give them money and kowtow to them and their wishes. I found out long ago that the ministers receive 20% of the contributions made to the church as payment for their "ministering to the needs of the flock". Translated, conning people out of their hard earned money so I don't have to work at a real job.

Politicians use religion to control and inflame people to hate, condemn and even kill someone because of their beliefs.

GOD help us all. ;-)
